Rural Health Clinics

As important as Rural Health Clinics are to African Americans living in these counties, they often times are left out on an island to fend for themselves.

More than 25% of RHCs are facing a financial crisis and covid has created additional strain.

Rural counties have a higher share of older Americans than cities or suburbs. The south is comprised of 26 million Blacks, or 56%.  African Americans make up 7.8% of rural and the health outcomes are far worse for diabetes and hypertension

We are committed to partnering with RHCs serving Black populations across the nation, especially in the south.
